Gameloft partnered with TAKEOFF to create a set of eight limited-edition Nintendo Switch 2 custom bundles inspired by Disney Dreamlight Valley. The goal was to design hardware that felt like it belonged inside the Valley : warm, magical, and instantly recognisable to fans, while remaining premium, collectible, and press‑ready.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation and adventure game developed by Gameloft, combining exploration, customization, and encounters with iconic characters from the Disney and Pixar universes. It’s a warm, magical world that fans will instantly recognize.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

The team focused on translating Dreamlight Valley’s visual identity into physical hardware that felt truly “from the Valley.” Soft gradients, magical glows, and character‑driven symbols guided the exploration, shaping how the game’s atmosphere could live on real‑world surfaces. Graphic storytelling played a central role. Iconic Disney motifs such as the castle silhouettes, Sleeping Beauty’s thorny vines, and floating rose constellations, formed a cohesive night‑blue and purple design language that feels both instantly recognizable and premium.

Shimmering finishes and subtle tactile details reinforced the enchanted mood. The front dock showcases the game’s key art, the back dock reveals vines, the castle, and translucent roses, and the Joy‑Cons and grip extend the same magical universe across the full bundle. TAKEOFF delivered a fully unified hardware and packaging concept built around Dreamlight Valley’s enchanted aesthetic. The approach combined graphic storytelling, tactile finishes, and thoughtful product detailing to create a limited‑edition bundle that feels like an artifact from the Valley itself.

The eight bundles were produced in a limited edition for a giveaway, giving fans the chance to win a unique collector’s item. It was a way to celebrate the game’s release by putting the community right at the heart of the campaign.
