CREATIVE PROCESS

The front face of the controller features several distinct elements. Firstly, we opted for a gray colour inspired by chainmail, evoking the medieval era of the game. Secondly, the brown colour used pays homage to the leather attire of that time, giving the controller an authentic look. Lastly, we incorporated the iconic “II” logo of Age of Empires II in red.

The back face of the controller showcases a sleek and understated black paint. This refined finish highlights the printed inscription “Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition,” serving as a special reminder of the release of this ultimate edition of the game.

These unique controllers were intended for carefully selected influencers who helped promote the release of Age of Empires II on consoles.
