Ahead of the 2025–26 NBA season, Microsoft partnered with TAKEOFF to design a series of four co‑branded Xbox Series S bundles for the Toronto Raptors, a franchise defined by contrast, intensity, and Northern identity.
The brief was ambitious. These consoles needed to embody the Raptors’ spirit express a visual language built on duality.
Our goal was to turn that identity into hardware fans could win, own, and proudly display.

These bundles aren’t just custom consoles. They’re physical expressions of a team’s identity, artifacts of the North: glacial, bold, and built with intention.

Through close collaboration with Microsoft, TAKEOFF delivered a set of collector‑ready pieces that celebrate basketball culture, the Raptors’ legacy, and the power of co‑creation.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

To bring the Raptors’ universe to life, our team immersed itself in the franchise’s visual DNA: cold and fierce at once.
We explored textures inspired by blizzards, claw marks, and street‑court grit to capture the emotional tension they create on purpose, shaping a direction that felt raw, powerful, and unmistakably Northern.
We crafted four unique Xbox Series S concepts, each combines vibrant reds slashed through icy greys with glossy vinyl showcasing the team’s name, logo, and Scotiabank Arena coordinates, grounding the design in place and purpose.
The claw‑mark spray effect became the signature element: a sharp, blizzard‑like strike that disrupts the surface, amplifies the tension, and gives each bundle a fierce sense of mid‑attack momentum true to the Raptors’ identity.
