Wolverine is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the loudmouth Deadpool. They team up to defeat a common enemy.
The idea was to design a ‘cheeky controller’ that featured the actors’ iconic character traits. Our artists used 3D models of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s real-life features, crafting a unique design that matched their characters’ suits in red and yellow. The controllers were packaged in custom boxes with leather textures and special touches like foil-stamped logos and an Xbox ribbon.
To add a twist, we packaged the controllers upside down, revealing the fun design upon opening, along with a signed Deadpool polaroid and a note. The campaign went viral online, even catching the attention of Forbes, Adweek, and IGN, and was shared by Ryan Reynolds on Twitter.
