LOTO QUÉBEC
For six years, La Face des Internets has been one of Quebec’s most iconic events dedicated to digital creation. Organized by Loto-Québec, the competition brings together creators and streamers from across the province for a series of creative challenges, expert coaching sessions, and a final gala celebrating their journey. The 2026 edition culminated in an awards ceremony held on April 7 at the Casino de Montréal.

The theme for this edition was the giant deep-sea lizard: a niche, offbeat, and visually rich universe. Loto-Québec wanted this world brought to life on a physical award presented to champions and super-champions at the gala. Each controller was designed to honor the streamers’ memories, commitment, and the streaming culture that unites them.
The brief was clear: bring the ocean depths to life on 20 Xbox controllers, entirely crafted in the TAKEOFF workshop.
Every detail was designed to immerse players in this deep-sea universe. From deep-sea lizard motifs and pixelated diving suits to hand-painted gold accents evoking sunken treasures and underwater mysteries — nothing was left to chance.
Champion controllers feature a glossy wrap, green buttons and grips, and each streamer’s name individually engraved on the battery cover.
Super-champion controllers use the same wrap, elevated with hand-painted gold accents, gold-tone buttons, and full custom personalization to mark their victory.
Each piece is unique. Each piece tells a story.
This project is part of a four-year collaboration between TAKEOFF and Loto-Québec, built on a shared commitment to creating meaningful, high-quality objects that capture the identity of the event. Every edition, the creative challenge grows — and so does the ambition behind each controller.
The custom Xbox controllers for La Face des Internets 2026 are more than awards. They are collectible pieces designed to extend the spirit of the competition far beyond the gala.
