Custom Battlefield 2042 consoles

Microsoft

Differentiating one triple-A first-person shooter from another can be pretty tricky. So is making a custom console that represents & distinguishes said game! As Microsoft asked us to create concepts for EPIC custom Battlefield 2042 consoles, we were ready to create the ultimate gaming artillery!

Xbox Series X

Differentiating one triple-A first-person shooter from another can be pretty tricky. . We did not want to miniaturize the robot dog, for fear of making it look like a toy. We stylized the different parts of the robot dog to make it look like a military machine, appropriating several parts of the Ranger in this final design.

The console features elements created for the robot dog radio on top, as well as small bolts and screws for a metal touch. We used microelements from the robot dog to stylize the controller and added 3D elements to elevate its customization.

Creative process

From the concept iterations, it was decided that we would adapt both the PC and Xbox Series X from Ranger, usually referred to as the Robot Dog. Both consoles have the same olive/army green colour, hand-made & hand-painted scratches, bullet impacts, mud splats, and other front-line damage.

The result: imposing gaming consoles ready to defend your side through thick and thin and throughout every gaming session.

PC Robot dog

Our plan was to build a large-scale Ranger setup to serve as our PC stand. The overall setup would measure approximately 80 centimetres in height, and the base would measure 70 centimetres (width) by 120 centimetres (length)!

An armoured machine gun bullet belt is attached to the right side of the PC by magnets on both ends. The lower front of the vehicle is adorned with a camera/sensor and a combat radio unit that is purely decorative.

Using the same paint colour as the robot dog, the custom PC is adorned with the No Pats logo.

The custom PC setup is so large and heavy that it couldn’t possibly fit on your desk!
