Commercial Assistant

JOB SUMMARY

This position is for you. You will mainly help the development of commercial activity in North America. You will also support the productions with creative teams and manufacturers. You work directly with the sales director and the artists to ensure the quality and delivery of productions on time. You support clients throughout the project. You are responsible for developing and respecting deadlines as well as managing budgets allocated to production.

  • Level: 3 years of relevant sales experience
  • Start date: early 2023
  • Schedule: Full time
  • Comfortable workstation in our Mile-End office. Remote work depending on the priorities of the company

REQUIRED COMPETENCES: 

  • Excellent sense of priorities, planning and organization 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Experience with project management methodologies 
  • Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) 
  • Creativity, flexibility, initiative and solution-oriented 
  • Autonomous, enthusiastic, and a good team player 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite 
  • A strong understanding of our clients’ needs 
  • The ability to communicate fluently in French and English with clients and suppliers 

EXTRA SKILLS: 

  • Professional knowledge of other entertainment industries: cinema, comics, etc… 
  • Marketing knowledge 
  • Knowledge of game production and launch

  • Mastery of social media: connected, knowledge of the trends of brands and platforms 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Working closely with our Sales Director by assisting him in various tasks, such as: 
  • Preparing and conducting prospecting in North America 
  • Create your list of prospects 
  • Send relevant reminders and follow-up emails 
  • Track changes and update projects 
  • Create and send quotes and invoices to the customers 
  • Create project briefs for the team 
  • Create weekly prospecting reports: quantity of new contacts 
  • Create regular sales reports: quantity of new projects, invoiced amounts, projections 
  • Establish timelines/production schedule in collaboration with internal teams 
  • Monitor production and deliveries daily and inform all internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and customers) 
  • Ensure the quality control of the productions with the managers of each department 
  • Rigorously manage the budgets allocated to the various productions 
  • Produce a complete and detailed report after the productions 
  • Raise production issues and make recommendations 
  • Look for new suppliers 
  • Participate in shared tasks of daily studio life 
  • Possible travels in Canada, USA, Europe, China
